International activities of the College

The international activities of the doctoral schools and of the College of Doctoral Schools in Rennes are more and more important. These activities cover several aspects:

  • foreign doctoral students reception
  • international cooperation between two research units having common doctoral students
  • international cooperation in the frame of cotutorial or joint international co-supervision thesis
  • output international mobility for doctoral students of Rennes
  • intput international mobility for doctoral students of partner research units of the doctoral schools of Rennes
  • financing the doctoral studies by partner countries
  • preferential links with the international relationship offices of the partner institutions of the College of Rennes
  • links with the international bilateral colleges
  • links with the international doctoral college (CDI) of the European 'University of Britanny (UEB)

 In the frame of these activities , numerous projectsq and programmes are permanently proposed. The following infromations concerned the calls of these programmes. Keep care to the deadlines of these calls.DThe deadline of the submission must be respected.

In addition, the proposals must be validated before their submission by the related doctoral school and by the Intrernational relationship Office of the registration institution of the doctoral student. This procedure can increase the delay of 2 weeks, in average. It is cautions to prepare the submission in advance.

International joint supervision thesis

For co-tutorial studies or international joint supervision thesis, some specific documents must be filled and provided.

The forms must be filled carefully and signed by the partners (supervizors and responsibles of doctoral studies of the both institutions). Thus, the forms must be sent to the international affair office (SAI) before signature obythe President of University (or by Director of the partner Institutions of the College)
