"Doctoriales" annual event
Les Doctoriales® BRETAGNE
This residential seminary dedicated to the PhD students is an event devoted to sensibilize these students to the professional and economical world before the end of their doctoral studies. Covering all the scientific domains, it is organized each year and concerns all the PhD students registered in a high education institution of Brittany. The duration is one full week and is generally held in a place far from the research centers in order to preserve the cohesion of the group. In average 90 PhD students are concerned each year.
This event was annually organized during the last ten years, successively by the four universities of Britanny (Rennes 1, Rennes 2, Bretagne Occidental and Bretagne Sud) and by the "Grandes Ecoles" conference (association of Engineer schools and management schools located in Britanny).
Organized under the auspices of the "Université Européenne de Bretagne" , the 11th edition of Doctoriales ® was organized by the University of Rennes 1, took place on Palais du Grand Large of Saint-Malo (the famous Corsair City).
THe last edition was organized by Professor Olivier Bonnaud, Director of the college of Doctoral Schools, assisted by Fabrice Le Gouguec, secretary of the college and by Tunier, temporary secretatry of the event.
The Doctoriales® BRETAGNE 2009 were organized by University of Rennes 1, from 29 to 4 December 2009 in Saint-Malo.
